We are happy to announce that today we received our E-mail from Memphis in May officially selecting us to compete at the Memphis in May World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest. The Too Sauced to Pork South Team is happy to announce that after sampling 12 different member tomato sauces, we have decided the lead for our entry. The 2012 Tomato Sauce lead for Memphis in May will be Blake Marcum. Congratulations to Blake for winning our sauce off.
We have Cooks in charge of each category…but we need people to help and assist them in competition, cooks to help Marc and Neil prepare lunches and dinners, and of course people to hang out, learn new tricks from, and talk bbq with all week.

Well, here we are at the end of our 2011 South team Fall Season wrapping things up. We had a very productive season and ended up with 8 more trophies to show for it, 4 of those being 1’st place. We will all be taking a break, and once we start getting contest dates for next year, we will once again start to plan out our Spring schedule.
